Mr. Zachary Klug, Principal

I am a graduate of Trinity Lutheran School and Lutheran High School here in Springfield, IL.  I received my bachelor's degree from Concordia University Chicago in Secondary Education-Mathematics  and my Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Missouri Baptist University.  I have taught for 20 years in Lutheran Schools in Phoenix, St. Louis, and now Springfield.   


 

 

 



Mrs. Caitlin Reichert, Kindergarten Teacher

 

I am a Springfield native and a graduate of Trinity Lutheran School and Lutheran High School.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education  from Illinois State University. 

Jill Schaefer, 1st Grade Teacher
 

I received my bachelor's degree from Concordia University Chicago and have been serving at Trinity Lutheran Preschool since 2010. Prior to Trinity, I taught for 20 years in a Lutheran school in the Chicago area. 


 

 

 

 

Mrs. Susan Rodgers, 2nd Grade Teacher

I received my associate’s degree from Concordia University-Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University-Chicago. My teaching ministry has taken me to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Chicago, Wheaton and Peoria, Illinois. 


 

 

 

 

Mr. Brett Moll, 3rd Grade Teacher
 

I was born and raised in Springfield and am a graduate of Trinity and Lutheran High School. I have an associate's degree from Lincoln Land Community College, as well as  bachelor's and master's degrees from University of Illinois-Springfield.
 


Mrs. Melissa Boheme, 4th Grade Teacher
 

I graduated from Holy Cross Lutheran Grade School in Collinsville and Metro-East Lutheran High School in Edwardsville, Illinois. I received a Bachelor of Science in education with a concentration in English from Concordia University-Nebraska. 


 

 

 

 

Mrs. Wendy Boheme, 5th Grade Teacher
 

I graduated from Concordia University-Nebraska in 2011 with my Lutheran education degree with concentrations in music, English and ELL. Having practiced organ since high school, I wanted to continue my music education and am currently working on my Master of Church Music with an emphasis on organ at Concordia University of Wisconsin.
 

 
Mrs. Pam Sausaman, Assistant Principal and 6th Grade Teacher

 

I was born and raised in Springfield and am a proud graduate of Springfield Lutheran High School. I received a Bachelor or Arts degree from University of Concordia-River Forest and a Master of Arts in teaching and leadership from St. Xavier University-Chicago.  


 

 

 

 

Mrs. Kimberly Garvue, 7th Grade Teacher and 6th - 8th Grade English
 

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993, majoring in elementary education and minoring in early childhood education, from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. I then received my Master of Arts in early childhood education from Concordia University-River Forest in 2002.  I have been teaching at Trinity Lutheran School since 2008.


 

 

 

 

Mr. Morgan Grillot, 8th Grade Teacher and Technology Instructor

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education and social sciences from Concordia University-Nebraska and my Masters of Science degree in secondary education - history from SIU-Edwardsville.  I have been teaching at Trinity Lutheran School since 2015.

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Brian Biggs, 5th - 8th Science Teacher

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Concordia University-Nebraska and began teaching at Trinity Lutheran in 2008. 


Mrs. Laura Fliege, Music Director 

I am a graduate of Concordia University, holding degrees in Bachelor of Arts and Master of Church Music. I have been serving Trinity Church and School since 1976.



Mrs. Jan Zepp, Instrumental Music Instructor

I earned a Board of Trustees bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University.  I have been a music educator for over 40 years with 32 of those years as Instrumental Instructor at Trinity School. I have been director of the Trinity Church Band since 2013 and I am a director and founding member of the Capital Area Concert Band.  


Mrs. Emily Janetzke, Instrumental Music Instructor

I graduated from Concordia University-River Forest with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education with a concentration in music.  


Ms. Rosalyn Bone, Resource Teacher

I have a Master of Science degree in special education and am a certified behavior specialist. 


Mrs. Karen Hemenway, Marketing and Communications Coordinator

I am a graduate of Valparaiso University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in marketing and a minor in studio art.
