Since 1860, Trinity Lutheran School has been providing a Christ-centered education for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. As Christ-centered educators, we understand the need for a strong support system in the life of a developing child. In addition to excellent academics and extracurricular activities, we also provide a wide variety of resources that help to strengthen families.
- Christ-centered: On a daily basis, the faculty and staff at Trinity Lutheran School share the love of Christ with all students, their families, friends and the community.
- Excellent Academics: Trinity Lutheran School prepares students to be successful in their future education and vocation.
- Family Focused: We provide a wide variety of Bible studies, workshops, social activities and resources to assist parents and guardians and strengthen each family.
- Serving Others: Trinity Lutheran School encourages students to grow into active and compassionate citizens through service opportunities within our local, national and international communities.
We connect students and families to the Triune God by offering a quality, Christ-centered education to our students.
We aspire to be leaders in innovative education within the Springfield community by promoting an interdisciplinary approach to education with an emphasis on the development of life skills outlined in the Elements of Success program.
What We Believe
Trinity Lutheran Church and School belong to the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). We believe that men, women and children are rescued from the effects of sin purely by the underserved mercy of God (Grace Alone); and that through faith -- a relationship of dependence upon Jesus that God Himself gives us -- forgiveness and more become ours (Faith Alone). Lastly, God's Word stands over us as ultimate (Scripture Alone). In it He gives us the rule and norm for all belief and through it makes us aware of sin, fills us with faith in Jesus, and guides us into His design for Christian living.
Grace Alone. Faith Alone. Scripture Alone.
