RETIREMENT

Rev. Martin H. Rothe will be honored at the 11:00 A.M. Services Sunday at
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church followed by a dinner at the Prime Rib Rack.
Rev. Rothe has served as part time Assistant Pastor of Trinity Congregation
calling upon the shut-ins since October 1973.

Rev. Rothe graduated from Concordia Seminary, Springfield in the spring of
1932. He was ordained end installed as Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church,
Bible Grove, 11. on April 30, 1933. He served various parishes at Eberle, Staunton, Livingstone, Wartburg, Charleston and Ht. Pulaski in Illinois and at Crown Point, Indiana until his retirement from active ministry in September 1973 at which time he moved to Springfield.
