Dear Brother:

Each year Concordia Theological Seminary selects a number of alumni, who
in my opinion, have demonstrated dedicated service to the Church and/or
the Seminary. These special servants of the Church receive the Servus
Ecclesiae Christi Award during the spring graduation festivities. You
realize, of course, that many men qualify for such recognition, but this
year you have been chosen to be among that select group. May I offer
you my sincere congratulations!

The certificate of recognition will be presented at the Award Luncheon
on Friday, May 27, at 12:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on the upper
level in the Seminary dining hall. You and your wife are invited to be
our luncheon guests.

Please note the enclosed activities of the day. You are most welcome
to participate in all or any part of them. The fifty, forty, and twenty-
five year class reunions will be held on the campus also. I invite and
welcome you to be among us. We treasure your friendship and support.
