Conditions of Employment of Part-Time Retired Pastor, Rev. Martin H. Rothe Jan. 1, 1985 - June 30, 1985 GENERAL AREA OF ASSIGNMENT: 1. Visiting of shut-ins within Trinity Congregation at least once a month if possible and administering communion to the shut-ins. 2. Assisting with preaching schedule during vacation periods and other absences of the pastors. 3. Other assignments within Trinity Congregation as may be required in cases of emergency. All of the above assignments shall be administered within the limitations of a retired pastor so that he will not jeopardize his retirement status and benefits under the Concordia Retirement Plan or Social Security. Hours of work assignment should NOT EXCEED an average of forty-five hours per month. The retired pastor shall be under the supervision of the head pastor and shall make written monthly reports for the Board of Directors. COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES: 1. For visiting of shut-ins and other assignments that may be required according to points 1, 2, and 3 above, Trinity Congregation, in keeping with customary procedures of providing housing and utilities for Trinity's pastors, will provide $285.58 monthly housing and utility allowance, plus pay $285.58 a month salary. 2. Preaching assignments in excess of 12 times a year shall be compensated for at the same rate as a guest speaker. 3. A mileage allowance of twenty cents (20~) per mile shall be paid monthly. These conditions of employment shall be effective for six months from date of signing with option for renewal.
