Trinity Lutheran Church will
observe the 60th
Anniversary of the
ordination of the
Rev. Martin Rothe
at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Guest speaker will
be the Rev. David
Johns, chaplain at
Lutheran Hospital
in St. Louis, Mo.
  
Rothe graduated from Concordia
Seminary in 1932. He has served con-
gregations in St. Peter, Bible Grove,
Livingston, Charleston, Mount Pulas-
ki and Crown Point, Ind. In semire-
tirement, he has served as pastor of
Visitation at Trinity from 1973 to
1985. The Rev. and Mrs. Rothe will
also observe their 60th wedding anni-
versary this week.
