Recognition Service for 3 Lutheran Pastors Three Springfield Lutheran Pastors will be recognized at the 11 a.m. Service of the Trinity Lutheran Church. 220 S. 2nd St. On that day, Dr. Clarence Spiegel will celebrate the 56th Anniversary of his ordination; Dr. Fred Kramer, the 50th; and Rev. Martin Rothe, the 45th. Rev. Loren Kramer, son of Dr. and Mrs. Kramer, will deliver the sermon. Rev. Arthur Kuehnert, president of the central Illinois district of the Lutheran Church-Missouri- Synod, will make a presentation at the service. Dr. Kramer and Dr. Spiegel graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, Rev. Rothe was graduated from the Springfield Seminary. Dr. Spiegel retired from his 38th year of teaching at Concordia Theological Seminary in Springfield at the end of the 1974-1975 academic year. Dr. Kramer also taught at The Seminary until its move to Indiana. Rev. Rothe has served parishes in Louisville, Staunton, Waterloo. Charleston and Mount Pulaski, Ill. and Crown Point, Ind.
