2010-2013 - Capital Campaign - Securing Our Future

The 2010-2013 Capital Campaign, Securing our Future, is Trinity’s fifth capital campaign to pay for our new Parish Hall and school addition. From 1998 to 2001 the first Expanding His Vineyard raised $1,132, 635, which was 95% of the 311 pledges. EHV-2, in 2001-2004, raised $679,894 which was 98% of the 194 pledges. Then, from 2004 to 2007, the Harvesting His Vineyard effort resulted in158 pledges that raised $799,738, which was 106% of the total pledged. We are presently winding up the Renewing Our Past – Seizing Our Future campaign during which 171 commitments pledged $755,142.
For three of the above campaigns, Trinity engaged a consultant to lead us in our efforts. In addition to keeping all the volunteer efforts on task, the knowledge and expertise provided by the consultant helped tremendously in those campaigns. And they were done in a spiritual atmosphere. There is little doubt that the totals given to those campaigns were substantially higher because of the consultant.
But the consultants were costly, and so this year the congregation has decided to “go it alone,” so to speak. All the volunteer work and leadership for this campaign is being provided by your fellow Trinity members.
