Following then our Lord's command to also love one another, we seek to meet especially the spiritual needs of our members and as resources permit also their physical needs. In short, our vision is Sharing Christ - Meeting Needs.

Church Picnic - Save the Date - Saturday, August 23, Lincoln Park
If you attended last year's church picnic, then you know a good time was had by all (even the flies). We will be having it again at Lincoln Park on Saturday afternoon. Everything is furnished by the church (food, beverages, plastic ware, napkins). You may want to bring a lawn chair so that you can set where you want, since the picnic tables don't move. Les Apps and his team will be catering again this year. There will be games - horseshoes, washers, board games, even swimming at the Nelson Center Pool. And...if you're one of those that loves to test out a new dessert, bring it along and get a free review. This is a great opportunity to talk, laugh, compete with family, old and (especially) new Lutheran friends. This is the year to finally attend the church picnic if you haven't in the past. Plus...don't you hate it when you miss out on a great party and everyone is talking about it at church the next day? Mark your calendar. The fun starts at 1:00 and we eat at 3:00. There will be a free will offering if you're so inclined.
